With not a lot to play for at Chelsea after securing Premier League safety in midweek at Arsenal, Advocaat wants to see his side playing for pride.
It’s still not certain as to whether the Dutchman stays with the club or retires, but either way he wants his side to go out and give the fans something to cheer about.
An offer is on the table for Advocaat if he wants it, but until Thursday its very much a ‘will he, wont he?’ situation.
But first he wants to see something special from is side today at Stamford Bridge.
“It would be special to round off the season with a win – especially against the champions,” he told the Chronicle.
“But that will be difficult! I am a big admirer of Jose Mourinho.
“I admire him for what he has done in the past, and what he is still doing now.”
