TIME TO SIGN OFF IN STYLE
Six games left and all apart from one being winnable. It’s time for us to forget about last Sunday’s shocking performance and send the fans away for their summer holidays happy and rushing out to buy season cards. Three more points should seal Premier League football for another season and we should also be able to enjoy some massive games. Spurs are chasing 4th place, we host Man Utd in what could be a title decider and then there’s Burnley, Hull, West Ham & Wolves, which could be real relegation scraps. So it’s safe to say it won’t be a boring end to the season and let’s hope we can get some early points so we can relax and enjoy it.

BENT SPUR
Darren Bent will get another chance to score against his old club on Saturday. He missed a penalty at White Hart Lane and he’ll be absolutely desperate to make amends. Alan Hutton, unforunately can’t play against his parent club, so Bardsley may play again. Hopefully Mensah is available but if not i’d like to see Da Silva at Centre Half rather than Ferdinand there and Kieran Richardson left back. in the absence of George McCartney, Ferdinand has been a solid full back and is much more effective defensively. Kenwyne Jones should be back to partner Bent up front, which will be a massive boost. Spurs may have Defoe back and they’ll be desperate to win this one to solidify their claims for 4th spot above Man City & Liverpool. I’m sitting on the fence though, as we look to continue our solid home form.

Prediction: SAFC 1 Spurs 1

GLORIOUS SWANSONG FOR FERGIE
Time for my predictions for the end of the season. Let’s see how well I do. For the relegation spots, i’m going to go with Portsmouth, Burnley & Hull. Man United will sensationally do the Premier & Champions League double and Alex Ferguson will retire soon after. I’m going for Spurs to beat Chelsea in a shock Cup Final result. Valencia will take the inaugural Europa League honours and the top four in the Premier League will be Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal & Liverpool. Finally, the World Cup will go to Brazil.

MOTD DEBUT
I made my debut on BBC1’s Match of the Day & Sky’s Football First for the Birmingham game, starring in the SoL crowd celebrating one of Darren Bent’s goals. Strange feeling but one i’m used to as I’ve already appeared on camera at the SoL before in a live Sky game looking miserable. At least this time I was smiling. My one remaining dream is to appear in the ‘2 Good 2 Bad’ section on Match of The Day 2… Or maybe not!!

MAGS BACK
Well, our much loved neighbours, Newcastle United will be promoted back to the Premier League this weekend. It seems like two minutes since we were all dancing on their graves last year. I would have liked them to stay down for a few years more, but we can’t have everything can we? To be fair, they’ve done well to bounce back at the first attempt, especially with the usual turmoil surrounding the club both on and off the pitch. Saying all that though, it’s probably the ridicoulsy high wages and long contracts that’s enabled them to keep all of their better players in the Championship.

BET OF THE WEEKEND
Take Man Utd minus Wayne Rooney to struggle against Chelsea. 1-1 at Old Trafford in the massive crunch match. Arsenal the happiest.

That’s all for now, and apologies for lack of blog last week. Technical dificulties (i.e. sending blog to myself!) caused the problem.
