Bardsley back from suspension

Versatile defender Phil Bardsley has served the final match of his ban and is back in contention for the trip to Bolton.

The 26 year-old Scotland international picked the ban against Chelsea back in September, forcing him to miss the Norwich, West Brom, Stoke and Arsenal clashes.

Bardsley had featured in the first four games of the season but since then has been restricted to international football only with Craig Levein’s Scotland.

Kieran Richardson should drop out or be pushed back into midfield with Bardsley returning to left-back for the Bolton clash.
