Sunderland have only 6 points left to play for in this year’s battle in the Premier League.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Sunderland find themselves heading towards the end of May, sitting in 20th place in the Premier League table and being on 24 points – relegation was confirmed for the side following defeat to Bournemouth.
Falling to defeat once more against Swansea City, there’s unlikely to be much for the fans to cheer with upcoming fixtures against Arsenal and Chelsea so it’s very much a case of turning eyes to the summer with hopes of the club turning itself around and looking for a first time return to the Premier League but that’s far easier said than done.
