Sunderland have only 3 points left to play for in this year’s battle in the Premier League.
With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Sunderland find themselves heading towards the end of May, sitting in 20th place in the Premier League table and being on 24 points – relegation was confirmed for the side following defeat to Bournemouth.
With a victory in the recent run over Hull City to shout about having only picked up two draws in the last ten Sunderland will simply be hoping to catch Chelsea off form and avoid registering 26 defeats this Premier League campaign.
Then it’s all eyes to the coming meetings with plans for the Championship next year.
