Sunderland manager Steve Bruce will be looking at this as good news as Henderson, 19, was stretchered off with ankle damage.
Bruce told the official site: ‘Obviously we are glad there’s no serious damage, but to be without a player of Jordan’s ability is a blow.’
Henderson has played 28 times this season after a brilliant season and scored two times for his home-town club.
Steve Bruce will now be looking forward to the return from injuries of Anton Ferdinand, Kieron Richardson and Fraizer Campbell for their next game away to Arsenal this weekend.

Bad news that we are missing Hendo but hopefully this can allow Richardson to improve from his woeful season so far…
Those are key players returning. It’s not easy being stuck in a rut.
