The fourth round draw for this year’s League Cup will take place on Wednesday September 20.

Carabao, as the new three year sponsor’s of the competition, will be holding the draw in the United Kingdom – I see how this works now, every other draw will be abroad so who has dibs on Mars?

It will take place following the full time whistle in Wednesday’s tie between Manchester United and Burton Albion and will be held live in the Sky Sports studios and broadcast on those channels showing the game.

With each draw so far suffering issues and the first and third round draws taking place abroad, it’ll be nice to actually have a sensible draw the fans can watch in more normal circumstances again.

The fourth round draw sees the top seven Premier League sides enter the competition for the first time as well, despite European involvement.

Ball numbers will no doubt be with us shortly as well as provisional game dates.
